- 1 tbsp Ras el Hanout
- 1-2 tbsp Harissa adjust based on spice preference
- ¼ tsp Saffron
- 1 tsp Coriander
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 500 g Lamb or Chicken cut into chunks
- 500 g Beef Optional Alternative, cut into chunks
- 1 Preserved Lemon sliced
- 2 Onions finely chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic minced
- ¼ cup Fresh Herbs Parsley, Cilantro, chopped
Marinate the Meat:
Mix 500g lamb/chicken/beef with 1 tbsp Ras el Hanout, 1-2 tbsp Harissa, 1/4 tsp saffron, 1 tsp coriander, and 1 tsp cumin.
Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
Simmer:
Add 2 cups water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1-1.5 hours until the meat is tender.
Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and cilantro.
Serve hot with couscous, bread, or rice.
