Ingredients
  

  • 9 oz pasta of choice
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 –4 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

Cook pasta:

  • Boil salted water, cook pasta (8-10 minutes), and save 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

Sauté garlic:

  • In a pan, heat butter and olive oil. Sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Make the sauce:

  • Add lemon juice, zest, and Parmesan to the pan. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Toss pasta:

  • Add pasta to the sauce, toss well, and adjust the texture with reserved pasta water if needed.

Serve:

  • Plate the pasta, garnish with extra Parmesan, basil, or lemon zest, and serve immediately.
