  • 10-12 Madeline cookies
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream for whipping
  • Fresh berries for garnish
  • Powdered sugar optional, for dusting

Instructions
 

Prepare the Madeline Cookies:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder. Beat eggs and vanilla, then fold in dry ingredients and butter. Bake in a greased Madeline pan for 10-12 minutes. Cool.

Make the Cream Cake Base:

  • Mix eggs, sugar, butter, flour, and milk. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.

Whip the Cream:

  • Beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Add powdered sugar if desired.

Layer the Cake:

  • Layer cream cake with whipped cream and Madeline cookies. Repeat until all layers are used.

Chill and Serve:

  • Refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
