  • ½ cup rainbow sprinkles plus extra for decoration
  • 1 cup heavy cream for frosting
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for frosting
  • 2 cups butter for frosting

Preheat and Prepare Pans:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 8-inch round cake pans and line the bottoms with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients:

Bake:

  • Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

  • Once the cakes are completely cool, spread frosting between the layers and all over the cake. Decorate with extra rainbow sprinkles on top.
