Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips for added texture

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

Mash the Bananas:

  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth, leaving a few small chunks for texture.

Mix Wet Ingredients:

  • In the same bowl, add the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir well to combine.

Add the Dry Ingredients:

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Add Optional Mix-ins:

  • If using, fold in the chopped walnuts or chocolate chips to the batter.

Bake the Banana Bread:

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve:
