Ingredients
  

For the Apple Filling:

  • 6 cups apples peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

For the Crumble Topping:

  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup cold unsalted butter cubed

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch baking dish.

Prepare the Apple Filling

  • In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Mix well to coat the apples evenly.

Make the Crumble Topping

  • In a separate bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add cold butter cubes and use your fingertips or a pastry cutter to blend until crumbly.

Assemble the Crumble

  • Spread the apple mixture evenly in the baking dish. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples without pressing it down.

Bake

  • Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Cool and Serve

  • Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm on its own or with vanilla ice cream.
